In this case, the contractor wanted to apply mortar by centrifugal spray and, as such, needed sufficient air to run the mortar spinner. The advantage of purchasing equipment as components becomes obvious when the job description changes. What if you needed to restore manholes along a remote right of way in a swamp? The photograph on the right shows how a track mounted dump truck was converted into a manhole lining rig using components borrowed from a highway truck package.
